During my recent stay in Selfoss, I had a great experience at the hostel. The WiFi worked well in all areas, making it easy for me to stay connected. I also appreciated the free parking, as it was convenient to find a space for my car. The basic breakfast provided was sufficient, and I was able to take advantage of last minute deals. The location of the hostel, just 1.5 hours away from Keflavik Airport, was perfect for my travel needs.

The location of the hostel is perfect, with restaurants, gas stations, and grocery stores nearby. the bathrooms were also clean and well-maintained, ensuring a comfortable stay. the hostel offers a jacuzzi with a great sky view, providing an opportunity to witness the Northern Lights or enjoy the stars.
Although the hostel has a great location and clean bathrooms, there was a problem with bedbugs, which is definitely a major concern for any guest and should be addressed immediately.

The value for money at this hostel was excellent. Our triple bed room was spacious and had plenty of room for us to pack and unpack. The location was great, close to shops and restaurants, and the staff were friendly and accommodating.
Breakfast items could have been improved with a wider selection.

The kitchen at Selfoss was fantastic. It had plenty of nice tables and chairs, lots of counter space, and even four different cookers. It was fully stocked with cutlery, pans, and everything we needed to cook our meals. We reminded me of we were in a professional restaurant kitchen! The bathrooms were also very nice, spacious, and separate, just like in a normal house. The staff was helpful and knowledgeable about the area, and even baked traditional bread for the guests one day. we had a great experience at Selfoss and would highly recommend it.

The hostel had a big and well-equipped kitchen with multiple cooking stations, making it easy to prepare meals. The public gathering lounge was cute and cozy, providing a great space to socialize or relax. there were plenty of bathrooms available, so we never had to wait even when the hostel was busy.
One negative aspect was the noise level caused by a youth group staying at the hostel. They were quite loud in the hallways and in the lounge, which made it a bit difficult to sleep or have a quiet time.
